For a good client in Rotterdam we're seeking an Operations Administration Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting their Operations Department with various administrative tasks. We need someone with a proactive mindset and a commitment to excellence, as you'll be interfacing with different areas of the business, ensuring smooth operations.
Working alongside a team of 7 colleagues, you'll handle the day-to-day administrative duties that keep our Operations department running efficiently. This includes tasks like invoicing, invoice processing, maintaining invoice lists, and providing administrative support to our trade operations team.
• As a continuous service for the operations department you will be preparing documents as per contract or as per operation department's instruction or as per letter of credit; This can be well ordered, but sometimes also be a big pile of information which require you to be able to recognize/find the important details for your task;
• After preparing comes the final composition of the set of documents and send the sets out to clients and banks. Sets of documents include Bills of Lading, quality reports, origin certificates, phytosanitary certificates and many more;
• Documents to issue and to include in the sets of documents are presentation letters, invoices and various statements about goods/shipments.
Vereisten
- MBO4 level of thinking, preferably in logistics, MER or office support;
- Shipment documentation experience and/or letter of credit experience;
- Strong administrative skills and structured way of working;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to set priorities to meet the deadlines;
- Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding work environment;
- Experience working with Word and Excel;
- Good command of English language (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of document handling and or commodity trading is a plus
